Roadways in the Gillette area were clear and dry at the time of the crash. Suhr was northbound on WYO 59 and Mitchell was southbound. For reasons unknown, Suhr’s vehicle drifted off the right side of the roadway. Suhr over corrected her vehicle’s steering to the left which caused her vehicle to come back onto the roadway going into a broadside slide while rotating counter clockwise. Her vehicle crossed over the center line where Mitchell was unable to avoid a collision with the vehicle. Mitchell’s pickup struck the Hyundai broadside in the passenger side. After impact, both vehicles came to rest off of the roadway on the west side.
